How "one time good school boy" turned to be a bad imaged boy

The staff at the Royal College in Colombo are wondering how their "one time good boy" Kamil Mishara has become such a bad boy that he was sent home from the tour of Bangladesh.

"We are shocked at the recent incident where disciplinary action is being initiated against Kamil Mishara". - Riyaz Aliher, the Assistant principal, who is also in charge of all sports in the college, said over the telephone from Colombo.

Incidentally, two years ago it was Riyaz Aliher, who had counselled Mishara when he was penalised for misbehaving under the influence of liquor on the Under-19 tour.

"I had mentored him then and he reformed a lot thereafter. Kamil comes from a poor family from Panadura, the South of Colombo. "Kamil was a great student at our college, which is the number one state college in Sri Lanka.

He was at our college for about five years. Royal College had identified his talents and took him with the ministry approval. He had won the Best SchoolBoy Cricketer of the Year award.

I will be speaking to him at the earliest and will try to find out what exactly he did so as the team management had decided to send him back from the tour". - Riyaz Aliher signed off.
