2022 Asia Cup likely to be shifted from Sri Lanka





According to reports, 2022 Asia Cup which was scheduled to play in Sri Lanka likely to be shifted due to the prevailing political situation in the country. The tournament was scheduled to play from 27 AUG - 11 SEP in T20I format.

Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and International Cricket Council (ICC) is planning to move the marquee event from Sri Lanka due to the situation in the country. However, still no decision has been made to shift the tournament from Sri Lanka. The situation of the country will be monitored in the coming days.



As per InsideSport, Asian Cricket Council (ACC) members will be attending an ICC event tomorrow (10) at Dubai. The two boards are expected to discuss the fate of the tournament.
